Apple Mixed Reality Headset Facing development Challenges, Delay To 2023: Bloomberg
Apple, the giant technology company’s new product Mixed Reality Headset is facing a delay in launch and is expected to be launched in 2023.

According to the new report that has been published by Apple for the delay of the Mixed Reality products launch and this could also lead to pushing the delivery date of the headset. The Cupertino Company has been working on a project related to Augmented or Virtual Reality (AR/VR) headsets since 2015. The weighing price of headsets has been also revealed in the report which is $2,000 (INR 1, 49000). The company is also reportedly adding in support for the device in iOS 16 and this is also expected to be unveiled later this year.
As per the report which has been published by Bloomberg, the company is facing a delay in the launch of the Mixed Reality headsets. The previous launch was expected in the Company’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) which was to be held in June. The source of the information, a claimer who said that the device is facing the issues of “overheating, Cameras and Software”. As the result, the product is expected to be launched in the last of 2022 year and the product could be available in 2023.
The mixed reality headset of Apple was expected to be launched in 2021 and its availability in 2022 under the codename of the product was N301, as per the report Apple is also planning to replace its iPhones with mixed reality headsets in a decade.
Apple also has launched the last year, the new product pas Apple Watch including this, the company also has launched the various products HomePod speaker in 2018 and its AirTags tracker in 2021.
The report source also revealed the facts about the ‘Two Chips’ are going to be used in the headset as powerful as Company’s M1 Pro chip on the MacBook Pro launched in 2021.
According to the report, the headset product is facing the issue of heating and some camera software problem which was taken by LG Innotek and as previously it was planned on offloading the processing to a secondary device but the plan was dropped.
Recently, the company Meta has also shown a large interest in terms of the AR/VR products as it has been also working for a long time under the name of project ‘Project Cambria’.
The report also revealed the expected price of $2,000 and as per the sale it will be changed, the report said. The company expects the sale of the headsets in the first year of the launch of about 7 to 10 million.
