Accounting -

For those who want to make and exciting career in accounting below are the courses for you -

1- Chartered Accountant: The eligibility for CA is you can start during your 12 standards by appearing CPT (entrance exam for CA you can say). Once cleared CPT you need to appear for IPCC which has two levels later you have to clear the Finals. But before the finals, you have to complete 3 years of CA articleship training under the certified Chartered Accountant. The good news for those who have cleared B com according to the guidelines set by ICAI, your CPT exam will be exempted, meaning you can directly appear IPCC. You will get good recognition as a CA in India.

2- US CPA (Certified Public Accountant): US CPA is an international certification offered by AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountant). The difference between CA and CPA is, CA gives you a good range of career opportunities in India and CPA is Globally recognized and get international opportunities. Unlike CA, a CPA can be completed in one year. CAs also opt for CPA in order to get global exposure.

3- US CMA (Certified Management Accountant): The Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is the highest level of certification in management accounting that acts as a global passport for accountants and finance professionals, awarded by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), USA. IMA has 1,25,000+ members in 140 + countries and 300 chapters. You get a wide range of Global Opportunities in Management accounting.

4- ACCA UK (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants): Offer by ACCA UK, has global recognition (180+ country). It has 3 levels, followed by 14 paper. Exemptions are available according to yous qualification.

5- BAT (Business Accounting and Taxation Program): A short term (approximately 6 months) course offered by EduPristine, provides hands-on experience in various accounting tools like SAP, GST, Tally, etc. which makes you ready enough to get a job right after your B com.

Finance

1- MBA (Marketing or Finance): You can either appear CAT/MAT/GMAT and get a good MBA college or can get Admission in private colleges according to your budget.

2- CFA® (Chartered Financial Analyst): This Program is offered by CFA Institute USA. It has 3 levels and provides CFA charters are globally accepted. This is the best option to make career in Finance and Investment Banking.

3- FRM (Financial Risk Manager): This Program is offered by GARP USA. It has 2 levels of exam and Financial Risk Managers are globally accepted. Best option for those who wants to purse Risk Mangement as a career.

4- Financial Modeling: A program with hands-on industry experience and certified by BSE Institute Ltd opens the door towards a successful career in Financial Analysis. The course has a duration of 2 months.

Marketing:

1-MBA: As I already mentioned earlier.

2-Digital Marketing: This is the most in-demand skill nowadays by the industry since everything is going digital. You need to get practical experience in Digital Marketing in order to add value and to get what the industry demands.

CS (Company Secretary): A certification offered by ICSI.
