For Commercial Remote Sensing China had Launched 16 New Satellites into the Orbit
On Wednesday, China had launched sixteen new satellites into space from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center within the country's Shanxi province.

The satellites are as follows: Jilin 1 Gaofen 03D09 satellite and Yunyao 1 04-08 which were launched by the Long March 6 carrier rocket at 12:50 pm in China (12:20am IST) and successfully entered the planned orbit.
According to the media reports, the new batch of satellites were utilized in the fields like commercial remote sensing and atmospheric imaging.
During the early hours of July 16, China had launched the Long March-2C carrier rocket in order to put two satellites in space. The two satellites which were placed in the space were - Siwei 03 and 04, which were lifted from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in the northern province of Shanxi.
China had eventually launched Wentian, the first lab module of its space station.
Well, the new module would operate both as a backup of the core module and as a strong scientific experiment platform.
Last year, China's Shenzhou-13 mission was a significant step for the country's young space programme, that was rapidly becoming one of the world's most advanced.
As per media, China's space programme was established in the early 1970s, years later when the American astronaut Neil Armstrong had already landed on the moon.
Aided by the economic reforms of the 1980s, China's space programme was progressed till the launch of the first crewed mission in 2003 took place. Since, the Chinese have invested with billions of dollars into the space programme and even the payoff has been evident.
China had successfully landed an exploratory rover on the moon in December2020 and one on Mars in the month of May in 2021.
