A Few Common Battery Issues in MacBook and their solutions

If you are nearby a wall outlet, then when your MacBook displays the notification that "You are now running on reserve battery power." and that you need to plug it to a power outlet it does not really make you frustrated. All you would do is plug it for charging and the notification disappears and you are back with what you are doing. But then take a close look at the number of times this happens. If you feel that the battery of your MacBook is draining too quickly, then that is an issue that you have to take a look at. There are some reasons, which when you be careful to avoid might help with the battery life. But if the damage is a grave one, then the repair center might be the only best place for you to go. If you are living in Delhi, then find a service center for MacBook repair in Gurgaon will not be that difficult. You can very easily Google it up. The same can be done for MacBook screen replacement services.

If your MacBook is a couple of years old, then it has a high probability of having battery issues. Here are a few issues that you might be facing with your MacBook's battery and the solutions to fix them.

• One of the major reasons that might be causing your MacBook's battery to drain fast would be due to overuse. This could either by you or due to the applications that you use. When you use some of the applications or games that have high graphics requirement or when you leave a number of applications idle (because they are still running in the background), your MacBook is being overused. You can solve this checking how the apps use battery power by clicking in the battery icon that is there on the top right side of your MacBook's screen. And then use the applications accordingly. Another way to save your MacBook's battery is by reducing the number of apps running idle in the background.

• Your device's battery may be draining fast because of some wrong settings. The default settings on your MacBook need not be the best settings that will help its battery life. So, go ahead and take a close look at all the settings. See if there are any settings that use up a lot of battery power but can be avoided by turning it off. If so, then make that change. For example, ensure that your device's Bluetooth is always off when you are not using and Bluetooth devices. Others include, adjusting your MacBook's screen brightness and keyboard backlighting, etc.

• It need not always be your device's problem. Sometimes, the issue might be with the wall adapter with which you are charging your MacBook. Check for signs like the LED on the charger is not turning on even after you connect it to a power source, you see sparks while plugging it in or the MacBook charges just sometimes and not always. If any of these signs are there, then it’s your charger that has to be blamed.

Sometimes any of the issues listed down here might be the problem and so, the solutions listed down here too might work. But always remember that you are the final judge. If you feel that something is not quite right and that you need an expert to take a look at your MacBook, then without any hesitation, it is always better to take it to the MacBook repair in Delhi or any nearby place which you can find out from Google. If your device's hard drive needs some work too, then check if they offer MacBook hard drive repair as well.
