IPL 2023 set up a new record on the internet with 1,300 crore views on Jio Cinema in the recent first five weeks. People currently can see the IPL 2023 on Jio Cinema for free but as per some internal information, it may further be restricted by applying a subscription method.

Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 set up international benchmarks in the history of the digital sports world viewing for IPL 2023 as it counted over 1,300 crore video views in the first five weeks of the cricket plays. The fanship for IPL this year is a record breaker as view per match touched 60 minutes which is itself a record. TATA IPL 2023 touched the new record of having twice the number of viewers on HD TV.

Jio Cinema became the record breaker and breached the climax of the concurrency records of IPL twice in a span of five days. During the cricket match playing between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals, the platform clocked a 2.23 crore viewership. After 5 days, Jio Cinema broke the record again with a concurrency of 2.24 crore in the match of Royal Challengers Banglore vs Chennai Super Kings fixture.
