How to Maintain Flawless Skin While Travelling Solo?

Vinod Patel692 28-Jun-2019

This is a question which haunts all of us before we pack our bags for that most awaited solo trip. Today, this question becomes even more important as we need to update our Instagram and Facebook feed! Duh! What a task it is to maintain a flawless skin while not refraining from any adventure that we have planned for ourselves! Having a flawless skin from day 1 to the last day is a must for your trip to be called successful.

We know how this is an important question to you, and that’s why we have come up with the ultimate solution! If you keep these points which we will be letting you know in your mind, you will have a gorgeous skin throughout your trip.

So, let’s begin!

• Moisturize

First of all, apply an intense moisturizer the night before you are going to travel. This will help keep your skin hydrated for the exhausting journey that you are going to be having, and if you are going to travel by flight, it will keep your skin from away from the dehydrating effects of cabin pressure.

You must also carry a best calamine lotion like the calak calamine lotion which is an ultimate go-to for your sudden acne breakouts, any burning or itching sensations, minor skin infections, and even dry or flaky skin.

• Sunscreen Is a Must!

Carry your sunscreen along with you wherever you go. Make it a part of your daily skincare routine. Sunscreen will keep you away from all the tan that you might get if you are going for a vacation on the beach, or anywhere hot and humid. Tanning instantly makes your complexion darker and the heat from the sun may also cause burns on your skin. So your sunscreen would protect you from all this mess.

• Wash Your Face Twice Daily

You must wash your face at least two times a day to get rid of all the dirt that blocks your pores. Your skin will definitely thank you later if you keep it clean and healthy by regularly washing it even when you are travelling. But remember! Don’t wash it too often! Washing your face too often would make it dry and flaky. And you don’t want a dry skin ruining your trip! So keep the balance between hydration and dehydration.

• Make-up Cleanser and Wipes

Be sure that you carry a make-up cleanser or the make-up remover wipes if you wear make-up on your face. Whenever you go for a sleep, just remove all your make-up. Sleeping with make-up on is a sure-shot way to waking up with blemishes and breakouts on your skin. Also, refrain from keeping your heavy make-up on for a longer period of time. It’s better to use light make-up products.

• Blotting Papers

If you have oily skin, you know how horrible your face can get with a super oily T-zone. So always keep some blotting papers handy! They are better than those tissues which often leave residues. Just dab away the oil and dirt from your face using these blotting papers. If you have sensitive skin, you can use these blotting papers without worry too. They are a boon for travelling when you cannot afford to wash your face from time to time. They come in small sizes so they can fit easily in your purse or your backpack without using up any space.

• Keep Drinking Water

We all know how water keeps our skin hydrated. So, don’t forget to keep drinking enough water while travelling too. It would help your skin stay hydrated and keep the effects of exhaustion from showing up on your skin and face. Hydrated skin looks fresh and healthy.

• Ice Pack

If you want your skin to look fresh and don’t want the exhaustion of your travel to show up on your face, an instant solution is applying an ice pack. Applying ice on your face helps you get rid of all the unwanted bloating and swelling on your skin. If you are fed up of redness on your skin whenever you go out in the sun, an ice pack is the solution for that too! Also, if you are unable to get enough sleep on your trip, and it shows up in the form of dark circles under your eyes or puffy eyes, ice pack helps you get rid of it too.

So with all these points in your mind, you are sure to maintain that healthy skin even when travelling solo! Be ready for a close-up selfie at anytime on your trip!
