Islam religion is quite different and unique in the world; its manner of dressing has drawn attention in recent years. With many groups suggesting the restriction on the dress are controlling and demeaning, most specifically for women. In reality, the way Muslim dresses drove out of simple modesty and also a desire to not draw individual attention in any way. Islam present guidance about all the aspects of life which also include the matters of public decency. Although Islam has no fixed standard as per the style of dress and type of clothing that Muslim wear, there are many requirements which should be met.

It must be noted, that codes of conduct when it comes to dressing are generally relaxing when an individual is home and with their families. Some of the major requirements are followed by Muslims and when they appear in public, not in the privacy of their own homes.

1st requirement: Some part of the body that need to be covered- This is the first and most important guidance of Islamic religion, for Islamic women wear which says that body parts should be covered in public.

Women: in general, according to the standard modesty that calls for a woman is to cover her body. The Quran, the holy book says “draw their head covering over their chest and the prophet instructed women must cover the body except for their hands and faces.”

2nd requirement: looseness- Islam also guided that clothing should be loose and should not distinguish the body shape. Skin touching or body-hugging clothes must be discouraged for every men and woman. While in public, some people wear a light clock over their usual clothes as this is the best convenient way to hide the curves of the body.

3rd requirement: the thickness of the cloth- according to the modern Islamic clothing for women people should be dressed See-through, as this type of clothing is not modest for both men and women. The clothing should be thick enough that no one could able to see the inner body color.

4th requirement: is all about overall appearance: the overall appearance of any individual must be modest and dignified. Flashy, shiny clothing must be technically meeting the above requirements for some exposure of the body.

5th requirement: should not imitate other faiths: Islam encourages people should be proud of who are they. Muslims must look like Muslims, and must not like other religion. Women must be proud of their feminists and also not dress like men. Men should be proud of the masculinity and should not try the dress code any other culture and religion.

6th requirement: very decent but not flashy- as per Quran instructions clothing is meant to cover our private parts and not be an adornment. Clothing must be worn by Muslims should be decent and clean, not excessively ragged or fancy. One should not dress in a manner that intended to gain the sympathy or admiration of others.
