Today I'm talking to you about split ends, the bane of my life. And the easiest way to tackle them is to have a regular trim. The tip of the hair is the oldest and like anything can become worn. And that's when you get split ends. So by having a regular trim, you expose the healthier, young hair underneath. But if you are growing your hair out, this just isn't an option. So this is what you need to do, and it's all about conditioner. you can use Macadamia Nourishing Moisture Conditioner to give moisture to your hair.
1. Start at the Root
Work the conditioner in from root to tip and glide the conditioner down to the end of every strand. That way, you're making sure that you coat every strand right to the very end.
2. Go Easy On Hair Dryer
When you're done washing, go easy on the hair drying. So towel drying is a recipe for disaster. All of this can knot your hair and cause it to break. Styling with heat is also tricky because heat can also damage your hair.
3. Use soft Towel
Try to gently squeeze the excess water out of your hair using a soft towel nice and gently over the whole head until the hair is damp and then allow it to dry naturally if you can.
4. Use a wide-tooth comb
Another styling tip is to use a wide-tooth comb. These are gentle on your hair. And they don't pull too much-causing breakage, which can make split ends worse.
5. Hold Back On the Straighteners
And lastly, hair straighteners. Try not to use them too much. Like hairdryers, all of that extra heat can damage your hair and make split ends worse. But that doesn't mean that you can't have smooth hair.
