UPESEAT 2020 Exam Updated News

University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT) 2020 is held every year for candidates seeking admission in Engineering Programs in the university.

Application Form for UPESEAT 2020 

Before filling in the application form, read the points below to ensure that you fill in the application form correctly: 

Go through the Information Bulletin first.

Check the eligibility criteria before applying for UPESEAT 2020.

Enter the basic information for the registration and select the desired course.

The candidate should submit only one application form. More than one form by the same candidate will be rejected.

There will be no correction window available once the form is submitted. Hence the candidate should fill in all the information correctly.

Application without payment of fees is not valid.

The candidate who has completed all the four steps of the application form and submitted it can appear for the online exam

Schedule of UPESEAT 2020

Online application process begins       Third week of September 2020

Online application process ends           Third week of April 2020

Release of admit card                             Fourth week of April 2020

Date of Examination                            Last week of April to first week of May 2020

Declaration of results                          Third week of May 2020

Preparation of merit list                     Last week of May 2020   

Counseling process starts                    First week of June 2020

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who will be of 22 years on or after 01 October 2020 will be eligible for UPESEAT 2020. (Date of Birth as written in the 12th class mark sheet will be considered) 

Candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/ University.

Candidate must have an aggregate of 60 percent marks in class 10th and 12th with at least an aggregate of 60 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics in 12th class.

Note:

Candidate with an aggregate of 80 percent marks in class 10th and 12th are also eligible for UPESEAT 2020. In addition, the candidate must have secured an aggregate of 80 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics in 12th class Boards.

Candidates can also get admission through JEE Main scores for admission to engineering programs in UPES. Such candidates must have secured at least 60 percent marks in class 10th and 12th with a 60 percentile score in the JEE Main cut off.

Admit Card

The information entered in the Application form will be considered and the admit cards of eligible candidates will be uploaded on the University website www.upes.ac.in.

Candidates are required to download the admit cards and take a printout of the same.

The candidates are then required to paste their passport size photograph on the space provided on the top right corner of the admit card.

The candidate must also sign over their photograph.

Candidates are requested to bring the admit cards with a photo identity proof on their date of examination.

Candidates without the admit card will not be allowed to sit in the test.
