Mr. Galgotia was born into a middle-class family that made a living by selling books in Delhi. He was one of the brightest students of St. Columba’s School and obtained his degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce. The habit of reading books helped him to develop his character.
Career:
Suneel Galgotia’s biography is incomplete without mentioning his adventurous career. Inspired by his family’s small book business, he started his own publishing company where he used Nascent Computer technology; initially with Indian authors and then with the foreign authors. In 2000, he thought of forming Galgotias Institute of Management & Technology (GIMT). In the first batch, only 40 students enrolled and today, 4000 students are studying from GIMT. Later on, he also formed Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) and Galgotias Business School (GBS). All three institutes under the Galgotias University manages 15,000 students.
