Nasya is an Ayurvedic term for migraine, throat, nose, ears, sinusitis, and other conditions related to the organs in the throat. Ayurveda cleanses these organs and removes the corrupted dosha from the nostrils. Nasal treatment is done in the form of medicated powder, medicated steam, nasal oil, or medicated juice. effectiveness

 This treatment is specially designed for otolaryngological and eye diseases. The treatment aims to remove toxins from the throat and head area by giving oil from the nasal passages. Other areas where good results can be obtained with Nasya are psychiatry, dentistry, and neurology.

 Types of NASYA therapy

 There are three types depending on the function: Nashabrif Mananasha, Villechananasha, and Chablis Nasha. Depending on its quality, Nasya can be divided into two categories, Pratimarsha Nasya and Marsha Nasya. Some other popular nasal remedies include:

 Nabana: When Nasha means Shodana or Snehana, it is called Nabana. This is the most common type of Havana and is used for Bell's palsy hair loss, headaches, and tinnitus.

Pradamana: It is the process of blowing dry powder into the nostrils through a thin tube. It can also be inhaled. All diseases related to the brain such as epilepsy and sudden loss of consciousness are treated in this way. Some other herbs used with this remedy include Vacha, Vidanga, and Maricha.

Avapeedana: In this Nasys form, the juice extract is injected into the nostrils. You need 4-6 drops of juice in each nostril. This treatment can be used for addiction, epilepsy, delirium, rhinitis, etc. Ideal for patients with complaints.

Dhoom: This Nasya form has three subtypes: Virechanik, Prayogik, and Shaik. Duma causes the patient to inhale the medicated smoke 3-4 times both from the mouth and through the nostrils. Exhalation should be done only through the mouth.

NASYA MIXED THERAPY PLANTS

 Some common herbs used to prepare nasha are Apamalgu, Bidanga, Hing, Turasi, Maricha and Rasna. Oil preparations commonly used for Nasya include Anu, Narayana, Marichyadi, Guardi, and Shadbindu. A common preparation for Nasya is known as Guardi which contains herbs like Shunthi, Pippali, and Saidhava.
