How are colored moles treated?

In most cases, the mole itself does not require treatment. However, if a mole requires treatment, treatment will depend on the type of mole and the condition associated with it. Large or prominent marks that affect appearance and self-esteem can be masked with special cosmetics.

If the birthmark affects your appearance or if you are at high risk of cancer, it can be surgically removed.

What are the complications of pigmentation?
