12-May-2024Narrow AI:
Focus: Narrow AI is specialized for specific tasks. It excels in a narrow subset of cognitive abilities.
Examples: Think of chatbots (like Siri or Google Assistant), self-driving cars, facial recognition tools, and recommendation systems.
General AI:
Scope: General AI can handle any intellectual task that a human can. It’s adaptable across diverse domains.
While we’re inching closer, AGI remains a theoretical goal, unlike ANI, which is already in use.
In summary, Narrow AI is task-specific, while General AI aims to be as versatile as human intelligence.
