MIME may be a supplementary protocol that permits non-ASCII knowledge to be sent through SMTP. MIME transforms non-ASCII knowledge at the sender web site to NVT code knowledge and deliverers it to the shopper SMTP to be sent through the web. The server SMTP at the receiving aspect receives the NVT code knowledge and delivers it to MIME to be remodeled back to the initial knowledge.
