Tesla Recalls Nearly Half a Million Model 3, Model S Over Safety Issues

Tesla is ready to recall its cars because they are facing some issues with many features, Tesla 3 and Tesla S are also included.
Mostly the model of Tesla, those are affected by the recall have was launched between 2014 to 2021. Also, Tesla has agreed to recall 153,000 electric cars with touchscreen displays.
The US Road Safety Regulator told on Thursday, 30th December that the company will have to recall its 475,000 cars because most of the cars including the model 3 and model S. the issues are related to the rearview camera and trunk issues which increases the possibilities of crashing.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has found some issues in its camera and also discussed with car makers while probing the company’s driver assistant system.
The regulators have told that the company will have to recall its 356, 309 of model 3 sold in between 2017 – 2020 with the issue of a rearview camera and about 119,009 cars of model S having the issue front hood.
While addressing the issue, the NHTSA said for model 3 “the rearview camera harness may be damaged by the opening and closing of the trunk lid, preventing the rearview camera image from displaying,” the Tesla Company didn’t mention any comment regarding the news.
In the US only, the company has received about 2301 warranty claims and 601 field reports regarding the issues.
But later commented on the issue facing the customers “Without warning and obstruct the driver’s visibility, increasing the risk of a crash,” talking about the latch problem in the model S and it could lead to the opening of the front trunk.
The NHTSA also told that Tesla said it didn’t hear any news regarding the crash and the cause of the crash is Tesla’s manufacturing mistakes. Neither in model 3 nor model S.
The effect of such news can be clearly seen in the company’s shares and also 3 percentage fall has been recorded in the morning but later on, it rebounded and till the market closing it was around $1088.76.Tesla is the biggest automaker and is expected to report the highly quarterly record in the delivery of vehicles.
