CES 2022 Began, Microsoft Qualcomm Partner On Metaverse Chips For AR Glasses
Microsoft will be in partnership with Qualcomm in making Metaverse AR chips for the App.
CES (Consumer Electronics Show) has begun and news has started to circulate as recently it has announced by Qualcomm that it will collaborate with Microsoft for the project of Augmented Reality (AR) chips for the consumers and business for Metaverse Apps.

Microsoft and Qualcomm, have agreed on a partnership on custom chips for the controlling of lightweight augmented reality Glasses for the use of both consumers and businesses related to the Metaverse App.
IN Las Vegas, at the CES happening the Chief Executive Cristiano Amon of Qualcomm said during the press conference that both companies are going to work together in the making of the chips to control the Metaverse working. Also said that these custom chips are the needs for the software that will help to work in virtual worlds.
He also revealed that that the work that will be done in the collaboration with Microsoft will be called Mash. This allows the people to beam the realistic likeness of themselves into the headset of another user so that it will feel like the two people are present in the same reality.
It also has revealed that the future hardware will also use software from Qualcomm and the name of this is Snapdragon Space. And the purpose and working of such chips will be to perform augmented reality functions like mapping the physical world and as the result, the digital objects can be overlaid on them and also the function of Hard Tracking so that the users can use those digital objects in their way.
Cristiano Amon’s Statement
As many of the great Digital billionaires have not attended the CES 2022, others like Amon attended it and said “We have been talking for years about the possibility of having bearable augmented reality devices that will gain scale,” he said these words in the Las Vegas in the Stage.
The Executive has not mentioned any comment regarding the details of the announcement of the available date of such virtual devices.
Also in CES 2022, Microsoft has made a statement and said “Our goal is to inspire and empower others to collectively work to develop the Metaverse future- a future that is grounded in trust and innovation,” said Ruben Caballero, who is working in Microsoft as a vice president for mixed reality at Microsoft.
