Vanilla Ola S1 Scooter Halts in Production as it Offers Ola S1 Pro Features to Buyers
Ola electric is planning to reduce the production of the Ola S1 electric scooter as it started to give the new features as on the Ola S1 pro model.
The buyers of the Ola S1 Pro model has witnessed many issues like the complaint by the buyers for late delivery of scooter on the social media platform.

Ola, the electric scooter has revealed a fact of halting the production of the Ola S1 electric scooter instead the company is focusing to avail the new scooter having the new features including hyper mode and others in newly featured Ola S1 Pro electric scooter.
The demand for the Ola S1 pro is more in the Buyers and also the company is giving a chance to upgrade the old model Ola S1 scooter with a new one. Some of the buyers are still confused with the published two different notifications related to halts in the production of the Ola S1 scooter.
As per the screenshot was shared by Rushlane of email in which the two pieces of information were mentioned in a statement, sent on 15th January stating that Ola electric is planning to halt the production of its Ola S1 electric scooter and will be available at the end of the year. In a similar mail, it was also mentioned that the interested customers also can upgrade with the new S1 pro by paying the premium window that will open on Friday, January 21 at 6 pm.
The email also consists the information about the dispatch of the new S1 pro in January and February including this it also said about the delivery date as told that the deliveries of scooters will take few time around 10 to 12 days after dispatch as per the location of the buyer and RTO requirements.
Later the day, the CEO of Ola Bhavish Aggrawaltweeted in his tweet account that the company will be bringing a new featured Electric S1 Pro to Vanilla Ola S1 electric scooter with the performance upgrade. He also told about the new features that will be enjoyed by the owners of Ola S1 Pro’s range, hyper mode, and others feature through the performance upgrade that costs Rs. 30,000. He also revealed that the dispatch for existing orders will happen in January and February.
Many buyers of the Vanilla S1 scooter have a complaint on social media platforms about the delay in the delivery of the order of vanilla S1 scooter. Some of the buyers also commented that Ola is a cheater and another buyer also said that Ola is following unethical practices and added: “No company takes 20K and does not provide delivery 4- 5 months.”
