Vishal Garg is back in business, later he sacked a total of 900 employees in a single Zoom meet-up just before a few weeks of Christmas Eve last year.
The website handled by Vishal Garg is called Better.com and a few weeks, he fired his all employees the reason he gave for that action was the loss of the company. Which was later, realized his mistake.

As we know last year just a few weeks before Christmas day, the owner of the website Better.com, Vishal Garg sacked all the employees whose numbers were around 900 in just a single Zoom call.
Vishal Garg’s notification was as “I come to you with not great news. If you are on this call you are a part of an unlucky group that is being laid off. Your employment here is terminated effective immediately,” said by Vishal Garg. After such a message he faced huge criticism on social media platforms.
Later on, Vishal Garg also accepted his method of communicating with the employees and handled the layoffs, after a few days he said “I failed to show the appropriate amount of respect and appreciation for individuals who were affected and for their contributions to better. I own the decision to do the layoffs, but in communicating it I blundered the execution. In doing so I embarrassed you.”
The news of returning, the Vishal Garg in the company was published on Wednesday, in the staff Memo by the company’s board and in which it was written as he was “taking time off” following the “very regrettable events.” The informatory report which has been published by the New York Times as the email sent to Company’s Board was cited as “As you know better’s CEO Vishal Garg has been taking a break from his full-time duties to reflect on his leadership, reconnect with the values that make better great and work closely with an executive coach.”
Adding more it said “We are confident in Vishal and the changes he is committed to making to provide the type of leadership, focus, and vision that better needs at this pivotal time,” told in the publication.
Also, a report of CNN reveals a separate letter was sent to employees by Vishal that read “I understand how hard past few weeks have been. I am deeply sorry for the angst, distraction, and embarrassment my actions have caused. I have spent a lot of time thinking about where we are as a company and the types of leadership better needs….and the leader I want to be.”
After making such a citation, Garg said that I was looking for a change in the company and last year due to the reason of the Market efficiency and the Company’s productivity. Also, he said that the employees have been expecting a letter from the Human Resource department detailing the benefits and severance.
