Tesla Recalls 26,681 US Vehicles Over Windshield Defrosting Software
Tesla is recalling its 26,681 cars and US vehicle due to the issue of Windshield Software, CEO of Tesla Elon Musk.
The company has revealed that it is promoted by the previous year compliant over the loss of heating performance in extremely cold weather conditions.
The recall by Elon Musk car company Tesla covers the 2021-2022 model3, model S, Model X, and some 2020-2022 model Y vehicles.

Tesla is going to recall its 26,681 Vehicles in the US due to a software issue that could result in a Windshield defrosting problem, it was revealed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on Wednesday.
Tesla told about the issue as the issue may cause a valve in the heat pump to open unintentionally and trap the refrigerant inside the evaporator. The company will perform an over-the-air software update to address the issue.
This is the recent recall by the company as earlier it took the recall over its Vehicle. This recall will cover model 3, model X, model S of 2021-2022, and also some 2020-2022 model Y vehicles. The Vehicles are not able to comply with Federal Motors Safety regulators. The latest error over its Vehicle has occurred in the Texas-based manufacturing industry.
Tesla Response
The company said that it was aware of such errors or crashes in its Vehicle nut NHTSA claim it could reduce the windshield visibility which may increase the risk of collision.
The company, to address the issue over its vehicles has launched the software on 15 January as a precautionary measure. Tesla, after discussing with NHTSA and Transport Canada has updated its software command to meet the compliance of the regulators.
Tesla Vehicle has been facing huge scrutiny from US regulators and some lawmakers, company has also has been issuing several recalls to its Vehicles regarding the software issue.
As per the source, the company has recently October issued at least k9 recalls over the Vehicles which involves the auto driver facility, Driver assistant system, and some software issues.
Tesla on the previous year 2021 January has issued a recall over the touchscreen displays issues of 135,000 Vehicles that could fail after NHTSA took the unusual step of formally seeking a recall.
