WhatsApp's most recent upgrade for iOS devices, both iPhone and iPad versions, also enables people to listen to audio messages while doing other things. Users may now play voice mails and music recordings inside the chat window, thanks to the upgrade. The function is only accessible on Apple devices, and there is no word on when Android users will be able to get it. WhatsApp has recently been striving to improve its voice note function across all of the platforms where it is available. Earlier this month, a worldwide voice message player was discovered in WhatsApp for desktop.

Only iOS users have access to WhatsApp's new global voice messaging player. 'Play voice mails and music recordings outside of conversations' will be possible with WhatsApp for iOS v22.4.75. Users will be able to listen to a voice note from another chat window while texting in another chat window. As previously said, there is no word on when this functionality will be available for WhatsApp users on Android and the desktop/web app. For quite some time, the Meta-owned instantaneous messaging platform has been testing the worldwide voice message player. When it was issued for beta testers last month, it was initially detected on iOS.

The design of the worldwide voicemail greeting player for Apple devices is shown in a picture first from beta test. On the top right of the screen, the player displays with a progress metre and the username of the user who submitted the voice message. Aside from that, the player can play, pause, and close the voice message. WhatsApp for pc was also seen earlier this month featuring a worldwide voice message player, identical to the one on iOS. On the desktop version, however, the player is at the bottom of the chat lists. WhatsApp for iOS previously received a voice message upgrade that included the option to stop and restart recording voice messages. The pause/resume button was largely replaced with the pause button when recording in the update.
