On Wednesday, Twitter revealed that the Safety Mode function will be available to more customers in English-speaking nations. Users may permanently block profiles for a week if they use bad language or send unwanted comments, according to the tool, which seeks to limit undesired interactions on the site. Safety Mode was introduced by Twitter in September of last year with the goal of increasing social privacy and reducing abuse on the microblogging network. It was previously exclusively available to a restricted number of people who provided comments, notably female journalists and others from marginalised areas.

The Twitter Safety Team announced the expansion of the exploratory Safety Various niche areas on Wednesday. The microblogging platform has announced that the test would be expanded to numerous English-speaking nations in order to get additional feedback and insights. Furthermore, about 50% of individuals in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States will get access to the beta edition of Safety Mode as a result of the expansion.

Spokesperson confirmed the testing of Safety Mode in September of last year, which enables the user to automatically block profiles for seven days if they use abusive language, repeatedly harsh remarks, or make uninvited mentions. Both mobile and web users are being tested on Twitter. When you use Safety Mode, Twitter's technologies will evaluate the content of your tweets to determine the possibility of a bad interaction and immediately prohibit them from responding to your Tweets.

Before adopting actions, twitter will consider the available links between the Tweet author and the Replier, and accounts that are often engaged with will be eliminated. Auto-blocked accounts will be unable to follow you, read your Tweets, or send you Direct Messages for a limited time (DMs). Twitter, on the other hand, has not provided any information regarding the global deployment of the Safety Mode to further markets, including India.
