India Crossed 1 Billion Active Mobile Subscribers in December and Airtel Bags the Highest Users

India has touched the number of 1 billion active mobile subscribers in December 2021 as per the data revealed by TRAI. It also told the highest grabbing of the users by Airtel which is 98 percent, while MTNL holds the lowest proportion of 18.58 percent in the same period.
Authority revealed the information about the country which once crossed such umber and China is among the top. India once gained the first time place withholding 1 billion mobile subscribers in 2016 and now in December 2021.
Some data has the detail of the exact number of subscribers in December 2021. The total number of subscribers in December was 1.155 billion and the active mobile subscribers found are 1, 00, 06, 30, 000.
The authority also has a projection to reach 1 billion mobile users of Android users by 2026.
According to the report Reliance, Jio has the highest stake of subscribers at 36 percent and Airtel at 30.81 percent. The very old network operator Vodafone and BSNL have 23 and 9 percent of the market share respectively.
Airtel has also been recorded to have the maximum proportion of active wireless subscribers (VLR) which was 98 percent and the lowest record showed by MTNL which is 18.58 percent.
