Twitter will continue to focus on mitigating the circulation of Russian posts outside the EU. The social media giant platform Twitter officially said in a statement that it will comply with the orders of the European Union.
Twitter said “the European Union sanctions will likely legally requires us to withhold certain content in EU member state,” Twitter’s spokesperson said in a post.
“It also told that we intend to comply with the orders once it goes into effect,”
The chief of the European Union said that the commission needs approval by late on Tuesday from the nations that come in the members for the ban on the kremlin- Backed outlets.
Twitter said it will continue to focus on reducing the visibility of the content from those outlets as well as labeling it.

Many other social media sites Facebook owner Meta, Alphabet’s Google, and YouTube including Twitter have said they are continuously blocking access to the news agency of Russia as RT and Sputnik in the European Union. The social media giant company said it is also demoting the content related to this news agency of Russia.
