Netflix, TikTok Banned its Services in Russia Amid Government Crackdown on Ukraine Invasion
Netflix, TikTok including other Tech giant companies have banned their services in Russia amid the Russian- Ukraine Crisis.
The giant tech companies Apple,Microsoft, Intel, and Dell have already been exited Russia over Ukraine Invasion.

NetflixandTikTok suspended most of the services in Russia on Sunday as the government cracks down on what people and media outlets can say about Russia’s war in Ukraine.
Amid theRussian Invasion of Ukraine, many technology companies have stopped their business and dealings with Russia. The sanctions imposed on Russia by different countries are increasing day by day but Russia is not ready to stop its attack on Ukraine.
Russia’s indirect conflict with the US is turning into many crises of a deteriorating economy, Migration of Ukrainians, and civilian injury. To curb the conflict, many countries and giant industries have banned their services in Russia. US Credit card Company Visa, MasterCard, and American Express said in the week that they all would stop their services in Russia.
A giant chip and smartphones company Samsung of South Korea also said it would cut services in Russia. It also said that it will also halt the shipment of products to the country and this action will be a way to join the big tech companies like Apple, Dell, and Microsoft who also banned their services in Russia.
TikTok told about its decision as “in light of Russia’s new fake news law, we have no choice but to suspend live streaming and new content to our video services while we review the safety implications of this law,” further added “Our in-app messaging service will not be affected,” TikTok said in a statement on Twitter.
