Telegram ban revoked by Supreme Court of Brazil
Brazil’s Supreme Court lifted the ban on Telegram after the platform complied with the order of the court to block some accounts of the platform. The giant media platform Telegram’s CEO also apologized for the company’s negligence in replying to court orders.

Brazil’s Supreme Court now revoked its order given on Friday of suspending the social media platform Telegram under the charge of not complying with the Supreme Court’s request to suspend some of the accounts from the Telegram who are continuously allegedly spreading the misinformation, as per the information received from the Court’s website.
The Court ordered the suspension on Friday by Justice Alexandre De Moraes. The order can be read as the platform Telegram has not obeyed the judicial orders to freeze some accounts spreading fake news or comply with the country’s law.
After getting known by the founder of the company Pavel Durov, he responded to the Court of Brazil by apologizing for the company as “Negligence” in a reply to Justice Moraes’s Order.

Justice in his orders was asked about the freezing of some accounts that were spreading the misinformation and the deadline to comply with the orders was given to Sunday. The freezing accounts were belonging to Allah dos Santos, is an activist linked to Bolsonaro.
After complying with the orders Supreme Court said the company Telegram had shown “Full Compliance,” said Moraes.
He added, “I revoke the decision of complete suspension of the operation of Telegram in Brazil.”
As per the court statement released on the court’s website, Telegram has appointed Alan Campos Elias Thomaz as its legal representative in Brazil, it fulfilled a key request. Justice Moraes further stoked debate about freedom of speech in political polarized Brazil in the latest chapter in the crusading justice’s battle with the suspended suspects.
