EKA E9 Electronic Bus Starts Running in India with 200 KW Motor
EKA E9 Electric Bus starts running on Indian road with having 200 KW motor unveiled. The government of India plans to be a 0% carbon emitter in aimed time.

e-bus in Pune starts running, the commercial electric vehicle manufacturer EKA on Sunday revealed its first e-bus E9. The e-bus was disclosed by the minister of tourism and environment in the Maharashtra Government including others who were a part of unveiling Aditya Thackeray, Sudhir Mehta, Chairman of the EKA, and Pinnacle industry at the Pune Alternative Fuel Conclave (AFC) on Saturday.
EKA is working as a subsidiary of Pinnacle Industry.
The Conclave is the initiation of the Maharashtra Government and it was organized by the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) and Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB). All the bodies worked in collaboration to start this pollution-free vehicle.
As per the company release, the electronic bus EKA E9 is powered by a 200 KW motor, providing faster acceleration, more horsepower, and greater traction power. The bus including all these features gives 17 percent gradeability to tackle any terrain and a regenerative braking system, as the company said.
Sudhir Mehta said “Electrification of commercial veh9cle, public transport especially the bus sector, is key to India’s Decarburization strategy. Today we are excited to launch our first electric bus EKA E9 to empower cities to achieve their zero-emission targets,” said on Saturday.
Further, he added that these EKA buses are designed to provide the customers, with the best experience and returns with nature-free service. He said, “With the new EKA E9, we offer a global platform for clean, efficient, and profitable public transport to meet the rising demand in the important market that is ready for the shift to electromobility.”
The bus-making company said it has made such an electric vehicle but it has designed the electric vehicle that will reduce the emission ability of carbon and will ease the sustainability for all.
