Expert Committee will probe the Electric 2 -Wheeler Mishap's, says Transport Minister
Electric 2 Wheeler Mishaps will be probed by a constituted committee by Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari. The minister said the constituted committee will look into the matter and will send the report to the ministry.

A committee has been constituted by the Ministry of Transport for the fault Mishaps took place in Electric 2-Wheeler. Nitin Gadkari said an expert committee has been tasked with looking into recent includes involving electric two-wheelers.
With the issue of catching fire in the recently launched Electric Wheelers, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said on Thursday the government will issue necessary orders on defaulting companies after receiving the report of an expert panel that has been formed to inquiry into the matter.
The Minister of the said Ministry said in a series of Tweets, that several mishaps involving electric two-wheelers have come to light in the past few months.
The Road Transport and highways Minister said “based on the reports, we will issue necessary orders on defaulting companies,” he said on Thursday.
He added, “We will soon issue-quality-centric guidelines for Electric Vehicles.” He also said if any company is found negligent in its processes, a heavy penalty will be imposed, and the defective vehicles will also be ordered.
