Elon Musk's comment Twitter Must Be Political Neutral to Gain Public Trust
Elon Musk, after taking control of giant social media platform Twitter, says Twitter must be politically neutral to gain public trust. He further said Twitter must upset the far right and the far left equally.

Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk, after taking control of Twitter, stated for the microblogging site to deserve public trust, Twitter must be politically neutral. He said “for Twitter to deserve public trust, it must be politically neutral, which effectively means upsetting the far right and the far left equally,” said Musk.
On Monday, Twitter confirmed the sale of the platform to Musk for $ 44 billion (Rs. 3, 37,250).
Twitter’s purchasing deal involves some conditions and under the deal, shareholders will receive $54.20 (Rs. 4,150) in cash for each share of Twitter stock they own. If we match Twitter’s previous share price before Musk revealed its stake, it rose around 38 percent.
Parag Agrawal, CEO of Twitter said he was proud of the employees for keeping their attention on work with full focus and urgency despite the noise.
He Tweeted “I took this job to change Twitter for the better, course-correct where we need to strengthen the service. Proud of our people who continue to do the work with focus and urgency despite the noise,” Agrawal said.
Musk’s move was also getting support from the EX CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey’s series of tweets in which he wrote about the move.
Dorsey Tweeted “In principle, I don’t believe anyone should own or run Twitter. It wants to be a public good at a protocol level, not a company. Solving the problem of it being a company, however, Elon is the singular solution I trust. I trust his mission to extend the light of consciousness.”
Zack Dorsey the maverick Co-Founder of Twitter, suddenly announced his resignation from Twitter on November 29, 2021. Earlier the CTO of the company Parag Agrawal was named his replacement.
