Internet Services suspends in Patiala amid a massive clash between two groups of home affairs and the justice department has issued an order for suspending Internet service in Patiala, Punjab. The government officials stopped the flow of the internet and many other spreading message services in the clash area in Patiala.

After the supporter of Khalistan came on the road to protest against the Anti-Khalistan March organized by the leader of Shiv Sena, Maharashtra. The government has suspended the internet services and SMS facility but the calling facility was available in Patiala.
Several people got injured including the anti-Khalistan march left four people injured.
The order of the ministry can be read as “In exercise of the power conferred upon me by the temporary suspension of telecom services (public emergency of public safety) rules 2017, I Anurag Verma, principal secretary, home affairs and justice. Do hereby order the suspension of the mobile Internet Services (2G/3G/4G/CDMA). All SMS services and all dongle services etc. are provided on mobile networks except voice calls in the territorial jurisdiction of the district of Patiala from 9:30 am to 6 pm on April 30; the issued order said.
The police were not able to control the clash between the two groups and after the clash started in Patiala. Several people including some people were also hurt and after which police fired in the air to bring the situation under control.
