Apple today released a new version of iMovie that includes features that make creating gorgeous edited videos for iPhone and iPad easier than ever. Pre-made templates for popular sorts of films shared on social media, with colleagues, or with classmates – movies like DIYs, cooking instructions, product reviews, science experiments, and more — enable aspiring content creators and moviemakers learn to edit and develop their video storytelling skills. With adjustable shot lists and step-by-step instruction on which clips to capture for each movie format, Storyboards makes it simple to get started. Magic Movie, for those who want to make a video even faster, automatically makes a finished video from the clips and photographs a user picks, adding transitions, effects, and music to the edit Both new features offer a variety of styles to assist personalise a video's final appearance and feel, such as titles, filters, transitions, colour palettes, and music, all of which are designed to work together.

Storyboards assist beginners learn to edit and develop their narrative skills by giving them a head start in the video producing process. Instead of starting with a blank timeline, artists can choose from 20 distinct storyboards that include cooking instructional, Q&As, product evaluations, news reports, and more. A shot list is included with each storyboard, which organises footage to portray a certain story. Each placeholder also provides a thumbnail and a hint that asks a question or suggests a different way to film the footage to make it more interesting.
