Microsoft to launch new version of Outlook Lite for Android
Microsoft is currently working on the new launch ‘Outlook Lite’ app, with an aim to make it lighter and faster and it is expected to be available soon to Android users.

In one of the description about Outlook Lite, it has mentioned that “An Android app which would bring the main benefits of Outlook in a comparatively smaller app size that too with fast performance for the low-end devices on any network.'
According to the ZDNet, the coming up of Outlook Lite for Android was pointed out and it has been added to the roadmap on June 30. Therefore, looking up at the entry shows that the tech giant had planned to make the new app which would generally be available worldwide in July 2022.
The new roadmap entry might be referencing to an updated version of this app or a more broadly available version of it for better functioning.
Dr Windows have noted that a lighter-weight Outlook app is already available in few countries in the name of “Outlook Lite'. Indeed, certain references are also available in various Microsoft documentation, it would rather give detailed information about a light/lite version of Outlook for Android. It helps the users to understand the ways in which the lite version of Outlook app for Android would be beneficial.
According to a support article, the new version of this app, Outlook Lite would actually supports only the personal Outlook, Hotmail, Live and MSN accounts but it does not support for work or school accounts.
Currently, Microsoft is testing publicly its new “One Outlook' client for the Windows. Well, One Outlook/Project Monarch, which actually looks and feels a lot similar to the Outlook for the Web/Outlook.com, it was rather asked to be designed so that it could unify the Windows, Web and Mac codebases for Outlook.
