7 US Defense Department Satellites have launched by Virgin Orbit Rocket
A Virgin Orbit rocket completed a new mission for the U.S. Defense Department on Friday night by launching a series of satellites. The rocket was carrying seven US Defense Department satellites, it was later launched from a special Boeing 747 flying off from the Southern California coast and then streaked directly towards space.

Well, it has been seen that the modified jumbo jet took off from Mojave Air and Space Port in the Mojave Desert and it released the rocket over the Pacific Ocean, northwest of Los Angeles.
The launch was persuaded by the US Space Force for a Defense Department test program. Therefore, various experiments will get conducted with the seven payloads.
'And there we have made it, folks!' the company had tweeted in a short form to portray the gesture behind the success. It tweeted before 1:00 am local time it was about an hour after the rocket got separated from the 747. 'NewtonFour successfully reignited and deployed all customer spacecraft into their target orbit,' the company added.
It considered being the fourth commercial launch and the very first night launch of Virgin Orbit. Originally the launch was scheduled for Wednesday night, but that night's attempt was scrubbed due to a sudden propellant temperature issue.
The mission was named the 'Straight Up' for the Virgin Orbit after there was a hit on Paula Abdul's debut studio album 'Forever Your Girl,' which was released in 1988 through Virgin Records.
In 2017 Virgin Orbit was founded by a British billionaire named Richard Branson. Therefore Virgin Orbit is headquartered in Long Beach,California, and it currently conducts launches from the Mojave airport but it is planning for international missions.
Later this year, the company will be launching two satellites on a mission flying out of Newquay Airport in Cornwall, England. The satellites will be conducting radio signal monitoring tests in a joint project of the United Kingdom's Ministry of Defense and the US National Reconnaissance Office.
