WhatsApp update let users to choose any emoji with the new Emoji Reaction Feature
WhatsApp is expanding its complete support to the Emoji Reaction feature, which is getting an update almost after two months since it first began to roll out. Well, initially the list of options for users were limited to only six emojis which includes like, love, laugh, surprise, sad and thanks. Thus, the users were able to use any emoji whenever they would want to react to a message.

The CEO of WhatsApp's parent company Meta, Mark Zuckerberg had already announced that the rollout of the emoji reaction feature had begun in an Instagram post on Monday. In order to recall the time when WhatsApp Reactions feature was first launched, which was during the early days of May month. Almost after 4 years of testing by WhatsApp this feature became successful. Though, WhatsApp was playing a catch up game with the rivals such as Telegram, iMessage, Slack, and even Instagram too. While announcing about the rollout of the Reactions update through the post Mark Zuckerberg has also shared some of his favourite emojis for reactions which includes robot face, french fries, a man surfing, smiley with sunglasses, the 100 percent symbol, and the fist bump.
As soon as the WhatsApp app is updated it would add a ‘Plus symbol’ just next to the sixth emoji in the list of pre-chosen emoji reactions. Well, the users would be able to press on the plus symbol from the list and then they can pick up any emoji they prefer from the whole slot of emojis. Users would be able to react to any message with an Emoji by long-pressing on the plus symbol which would then open up a small menu on the side. Later, the users would choose according to their preference. Although, the announcement comes ahead of World Emoji Day, which would take place on July 17.
