Instagram had rolled out a new feature earlier this year to permit creators to charge fees for their exclusive content. Currently, the company is about to introduce new tools for creators in order to connect with subscribers on the platform. After testing the selected features in January this year, the Meta-owned company is all set to roll out Subscriber Chats, Subscriber Reels, Subscriber Posts, and Subscriber Home. Well, till now the creators are only able to post Subscriber Stories with a special badge on the profile. They even had the choice to host Subscriber Lives.

Meta had eventually shared a blog post, where it mentions that Instagram Subscriptions for creators had expanded across the US. Well, when this model is reached there is no detail available to creators in all countries along with India. The company has also clarified that Meta would not take fees on Subscriptions through the end of 2024.

Just like the name suggests, the feature would permit its fans to interact with their favorite creators.

The chat supports up to 30 people to have a discussion about things which they are passionate about. Instagram has mentioned that the Subscriber chats, powered by Messenger, would be created directly from an individual’s inbox or story and it would get end automatically after 24 hours.

The subscribers will be able to become a part of chats from a new 'join chat', option attached to a story.

Along with this the Instagram DM is getting a dedicated tab to permit creators to manage chats and the inbox.

Following Subscriber Stories, creators will be able to currently publish exclusive Posts and Reels. These would come with an 'exclusive' tag or badge.

Instagram even add to the statement that, 'We have also made a subscription story sticker and promo reels in order to encourage the followers to subscribe and a straightforward way to provide subscribers a personalized welcome after they join with the welcome reels'.
