BMW Test Car Veers into Traffic in Germany, Lead to 1 Death and 9 Injured
The Police had stated that a test car with autonomous steering capability veered into oncoming traffic in Germany, by killing one person and seriously injuring nine others.

In the southwestern town of Reutlingen, a spokesperson for police has mentioned that the electrical BMW iX along with five people on board, which would include a young kid, swerved out of its lane at a bend in the road that triggered a series of collisions that would involve around four vehicles on Monday afternoon.
Well, after brushing an oncoming Citroen, the BMW hit a Mercedes-Benz van head-on which lead to immediate death of a 33-year-old rider on the vehicle.
The 70-year-old driver of the Citroen lost her control from the car and crashed into another vehicle which had two people on board by pushing it off the road and inflicting it to burst into flames.
Michael Schaal, the spokesperson for the Reutlingen police had mentioned that four rescue helicopters and dozens of firefighters had to respond to the incident and the ones’ who were injured were taken in many hospitals of the region. The list of injured people included the 43-year-old driver of the BMW, three adults aged 31, 42 and 47, along with an 18-month-old kid who were all involved in the test vehicle.
