September 7 Targeted as the Launch Date for iPhone 14 by Apple
Apple Inc. has been aiming towards a launch event on September 7 to release the iPhone 14 line, as per individuals with knowledge of the matter which have been rolling out the latest version of a product that would generate more than half of its sales.

The new iPhones would kick off a busy fall product season, which would include multiple new Macs, low-end and high-end iPads, along with three Apple Watch models.
Apple has been changing its flagship product at a precarious time for the industry. Smartphone sales was started to flag as consumers would cope with inflation and a shaky economy. However, Apple seems to be faring higher than its peers: The iPhone was sold at better quantity then last quarter and the company was signaled to suppliers that it would not foresee a drop-off in demand.
The company would release the new iPhone in stores after a week and half when it was unveiled , and Apple was expected to stay to that particular pattern this year. Some retail store workers were told to prepare for a major new product release on September 16.
The company had intended to stream the event online instead of instead of holding an in-person gathering which would continue an approach that it adopted at the beginning of the pandemic. Apple launch event were highly polished affairs and its employees have already started recording the presentation's segments over the past few weeks.
On Monday, it has mentioned its staffs that they would be required to work in-person three days a week starting in September 5, which would be two days before the planned product announcement.
The iPhone 14 has a similar look just like the iPhone 13, but even though the company would eliminate the 5.4-inch “mini” version and would add a model with a 6.7-inch screen. This would be marked as the first time when Apple would launch a non-Pro iPhone with a display of such size.
The company has been planning larger changes for the iPhone 14 Pro line. Apple would be replacing the front-facing camera cutout, which would referred to as the notch, with a pill-shaped hole for Face ID sensors and a hole-punch-sized area for the camera. This would provide the users with little more screen space. The company would be adding a quicker chip to the iPhone 14 Pro. Meanwhile, Apple would be retaining the A15 chip from the iPhone 13 within the regular iPhone 14 models.
The most vital iPhone 14 Pro changes would take place in the camera system, which would appear a little larger to consumers. The Pro models would have a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera along with 12-megapixel ultrawide and telephoto sensors. Apple has been planning to improve its video recording and batter life of the phone.
