The company has mentioned that its information recommends that vertical video assets drove higher click-through rates as compared to the landscape ones. Along with this the marketers would be able to adapt their ad content and strategies to those evolving behaviors. Meanwhile, the company ahs mentioned that it has been engaged on un-skippable bumper ads on the platform.

As per the explanation provided by the Google its experimental machine learning technology reformats landscape video ads in square or vertical formats supported on the basis of how the user has been observing videos on YouTube. It has been mentioned that the model would find vital components within the landscape ad — like faces, key objects, logos, text and motion along with this it would break a video into distinct “scenes.” It further mentioned that these scenes would make sure that vital components would definitely show up properly in a vertical advertisements.
Therefore, this technology may be helpful for those businesses who might not have dedicated resources to make multiple ads for many completely different formats. Google has released four new, customizable vertical video ad models and one square shaped template within the video creation tool in Google Ads, situated within the Asset Library. These templates were accustomed to produce vertical or square ads quickly.
The company has mentioned that “We had added a new set of vertical video ad templates to our auto-generated video giving, that would create vertical videos which were supported on inputs that you give for a campaign, like text and pictures.”
In a YouTube ads-related development, the video streaming platform has urged that it has been engaged in a particular variety of ad format referred to as bumper ads. These ads were mentioned to be up to 6-second long. As per a report, Google might serve up to 10 bumper ads in one break that can't be skipped. Therefore, it means that 10 bumper ads could eat up to sixty seconds of the time, that shouldn't be a problem for those who all were using the free version.
Currently, YouTube had showed 2-3 short ads or one long ad which may be skipped after certain seconds. If an individual does not want to watch the ads then they could use the YouTube Premium.
