Amazon’s Prime Early Access Sale will take place on October 11th and 12th
The rumours were true: Amazon is hosting a second Prime-only sales event that will begin on Tuesday, October 11 at 3AM ET / 12AM PT and last through Wednesday, October 12. With the exception of changing the name of the event from Prime Day to Prime Early Access Sale, Amazon has now officially confirmed the prospect of an additional day of offers, which we originally heard about in June.
It doesn't seem like there are much differences between the two events outside the name. The Prime Early Access Sale, like Amazon Prime Day, is expected to feature sales on a wide range of exciting tech items as well as some of the best prices of the year. So if you've put off purchasing an OLED TV or a new set of noise-canceling headphones for so long, take it from us that holding off for a few further weeks will be well worth it.
Of course, Amazon hasn't disclosed any specifics of the deals that will be made available, but the company did highlight some of the brands that would be featured during the sale. Products from Peloton, New Balance, Philips Sonicare, Lego, Adidas, KitchenAid, Samsung, iRobot (which Amazon is currently buying), and more are included in this. Additionally, it will provide discounts from a new top 100 list of the 'most well-liked and giftable items' throughout the event.
If you want to get a head start, there will be some early bargains beginning today, such as a four-month free trial of Amazon Music Unlimited and the opportunity to purchase an Echo Dot for just 99 cents when purchasing a one-month membership to Amazon's music streaming service. Prime members get access to Prime Early Access discounts.
