Data protection bill will be simple and modern
According to him, the right to privacy and the protection of personal information are fundamental freedoms in India, and the data protection bill will be quite progressive in recognising and enshrining these rights.

The new Personal Data Protection Bill is most likely to be introduced in Parliament during the budget session in February of the following year.
The Center withdrew the Personal Data Protection Bill, 2021 in August and declared that 'a comprehensive legislative framework' will take its place. The minister asserted that India has made great progress in the semiconductor sector since 2014.
He asserted that although the majority of electrical items were imported in 2014, currently, 97 percent of products are made in India. India too has a strategy in place to advance the semiconductor sector.
Chandrasekhar asserts that there are many more start-ups in almost every ecosystem today, including the ecosystem for drones, and that these start-ups are crucial to the government's strategy for building a new India.
He highlighted that many Indian entrepreneurs are working on the creation of the newest gadgets and technology in addition to saying that India has made the historic decision to keep an open internet. But some border conditions must be met. The minister asserted that technological participation was altering youth, ambitions, and the economy.
'India wants to dominate Web 3.0, but issues with cryptocurrency and online gaming need to be handled cautiously. Without stifling innovation, it's critical to have a secure and reliable environment 'he stated.
