Lionel Messi is appointed as BYJU's global brand ambassador.
Lionel 'Leo' Messi has been named the first global brand ambassador of BYJU'S Education For All, the company's social impact department. Messi, the Argentine football team's captain and a player for Paris Saint-Germain, has partnered with BYJU'S to advance the cause of fair education.
This collaboration is in keeping with BYJU'S mission to make education affordable, accessible, and equal for all. Earlier this year, BYJU'S was announced as the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar's official sponsor.
Co-founder of BYJU'S Divya Gokulnath stated, 'We are honoured and thrilled to work with Lionel Messi as our global ambassador. He is a talent that comes along once in a generation, and the ideals of the BYJU'S brand are deeply reflected in his quest of perfection, all-in mentality, humility, and dependability. He worked his way up from the bottom to become one of the greatest athletes ever.
For the almost 5.5 million kids it presently empowers, BYJU'S Education For All hopes to offer opportunities like that. Lionel Messi is the best example of the ability to maximise one's potential. The fact that the greatest player of all time is also the greatest learner of all time is not very remarkable. Messi added, 'I selected BYJU'S as my partner because their objective to inspire everyone to love studying exactly reflects my ideals.
Messi added, 'I selected BYJU'S as my partner because their objective to inspire everyone to love studying exactly reflects my ideals. A good education changes people's lives, and BYJU'S has helped millions of students all around the world shift their professional trajectories. I want to encourage students to excel and stay there. The Leo Messi Foundation, which Messi also runs, was established in 2007 with the belief that all children should have an equal chance to realise their potential.
