Reliance Jio is the first telecom provider to launch 5G services in Delhi-key NCR's areas.
- Jio announced that it has begun to offer 5G connectivity throughout Delhi NCR.
- Jio Welcome Offer is available to consumers in the Delhi NCR.
- Jio True-5G services were scheduled to begin in beta last month.
Reliance Jio stated on Friday that it is the only provider of True-5G, or 5G services, in the Delhi-NCR region, which includes Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, and other important cities. The telecom company claimed to be rapidly putting out the most modern True-5G network and to be covering the majority of this region.
'According to a Jio employee, 'We take pride in providing service to the majority of the National Capital and NCR region. Jio experts are working round-the-clock to make True5G available to every Indian due to the technology's potential to revolutionise society and the exponential benefits it can offer to every person.'
The telco claimed that this revolutionary network would be present in all significant locations, including but not limited to the majority of residential areas, hospitals, schools, colleges and universities, government structures, malls, and markets. Additionally, it is claimed that it will be accessible in high-traffic locations like tourist attractions, hotels, tech parks, and streets, highways, and metros.
The telecom company claimed that thousands of Jio users in the Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR) are already taking advantage of the Jio Welcome Offer, which gives them free access to unlimited data at speeds of up to 1 gigabit per second (Gbps+).
The telecom company further claimed that this was made possible by a standalone 5G architecture that is not dependent on a 4G network, the best and largest mix of 5G spectrum available across the 700MHz, 3500MHz, and 26GHz bands, and the seamless integration of these 5G mobile frequencies into a single, robust 'data highway' using a cutting-edge technology known as carrier aggregation. More Jio customers in Delhi-NCR would keep receiving invitations to the Jio Welcome Offer, it was noted.
