Reliance Jio 5G Rollout Has Been Completed in 33 Gujarat District Headquarter Locations
- Jio claims that all 33 district offices in Gujarat have complete 5G coverage.
- This week, the telecom provider launched 5G connectivity in Pune.
- Jio will provide 5G connection to customers at no extra charge.
The 33 district heads in Gujarat now have access to 5G service, according to telecom giant Jio, which announced the rollout on Friday. As of right now, Gujarat is the only state to provide 5G service to every district headquarters, making it the largest trial-based roll-out of the newest services to date. According to Jio, it would offer 5G services to subscribers throughout the trial period at no additional cost.
Jio stated that it had made a significant advancement by expanding its True-5G coverage to each of Gujarat's 33 district headquarters. This made Gujarat the first state in India to have Jio True 5G coverage in every district headquarters. The start of the company's service debut in the state is marked by the 'True 5G'-powered 'Education-For-All' programme of the same name, in which Reliance Foundation and Jio are working together to initially digitise 100 schools in Gujarat.
Gujarat is the first state to have all district headquarters fully connected to our powerful True 5G network at this time. “We want to show how this technology can truly benefit a billion people and make their lives better. Our honourable Prime Minister has prioritised education.” Akash M. Ambani, chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm, stated in the statement.
Jio said earlier this week that its Jio True 5G network has officially launched in Pune. Pune residents, according to the business, can enjoy speeds of up to 1 Gbps with unrestricted 5G internet.
According to a statement released by Jio on Wednesday, beta testing of the company's standalone True 5G network in a city doesn't begin until a large section of the city is covered. By doing this, Jio clients are guaranteed appropriate coverage and access to the business' cutting-edge 5G network.
