It's expected that Apple will soon enter the foldable market. According to earlier rumours, the Cupertino company may introduce a foldable iPad before a foldable iPhone. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently opined that it is doubtful that Apple will switch out the iPad mini for a foldable version.
According to his forecast, the cost of a foldable iPad will be far greater than the iPad Mini, making it an expensive investment. Apple might be working on a more pricey iPad instead. The price of a foldable iPad might prevent Apple from replacing the iPad mini, claims Kuo. He also believes that the Cupertino company is working on an iPad mini that will cost more money.
It is projected that major shipments would begin by the end of 2023 or the first half of 2024. An earlier report said that Apple might first release a foldable iPad before a foldable iPhone.
