Web3, CoinDCX, Binance Crypto Awareness Program
The market for digital assets is seeing a large influx of new investors, which has contributed to a strong feeling in the cryptocurrency industry, which last week crossed the $1 trillion market cap. The Indian exchange CoinDCX started a campaign to educate Indian investors and industries about cryptocurrencies on January 23. Namaste Web3 is the name of this endeavour. A Web3 scholarship programme will be introduced by international cryptocurrency exchange Binance in 2023 and will accept 30,000 applications.
If India and many other nations collaborated to establish legislation governing the crypto sector, more people would be willing to use investing and trading tools.
CoinDCX wants to inform potential cryptocurrency investors about the benefits and drawbacks of investing in digital assets through this awareness campaign.
'The development of Web3 technology has given inventors and designers a big blank canvas. But continuing education is necessary if this technology is to be used widely. Co-founder and CEO of CoinDCX Sumit Gupta stated in a statement: 'We are giving the ecosystem a voice and exposure through Namaste Web3 to raise public understanding of the applications and benefits of this technology.
Roadshows promoting crypto awareness will be held in a number of Indian cities, including Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Jaipur, Pune, Indore, and Kolkata.
Namaste Web3 will also feature workshops on what to anticipate from Web3 and how to construct decentralised apps using the blockchain (dAapps).
Binance has decided to use its Binance Charity Scholar Program to raise awareness of cryptocurrencies around the world even though this programme was only recently launched in India (BCSP). More than 30,000 people would be eligible for scholarships and blockchain training as part of this programme.
In order to create cutting-edge, next-generation platforms and apps, the BCSP will conduct developer training.
The University of Western Australia, the University of Nicosia in Cyprus, the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in Germany, and the Utica Technology Hub in Nigeria have all agreed to participate as educational partners in BCSP's initiative.
This year, as more companies vie for the attention of the Web3 native audience, the adoption of cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and the metaverse is expected to skyrocket.
The development of Web3 gaming, navigating the transition from Web2 to Web3, decentralised finance in Web3, navigating the intersection of centralised and decentralised approaches, and accelerating the development of the decentralised application (DApp) with practical workshops on developing DApps with decentralised hosting solutions are just a few of the crucial topics that will be covered in Bengaluru's panels, fireside chats, and keynotes.
