Elon Musk was asked by Twitter's co-founder whether He Legitimately Holds the Title of Owner
Twitter co-founder and angel investor Biz Stone recently criticised Elon Musk, saying that Musk had undermined the improvements he had made to the company culture. According to the Guardian, he stated that the company's new owner has overturned previous enhancements to attitude and content policies.
According to an interview Biz Stone gave to The Guardian, Tesla's CEO has undone many of the reforms he oversaw in recent years. According to Mr Stone, managing a social media site is difficult to work and there is no way for everyone involved to benefit. Half of the population will be pleased, he said, while the other half will be furious with you.
'That which you personally find offensive or disagreeable must be tolerated. If you must express an opinion, do so in a publication where it is welcome, such as a newspaper or magazine 'In other words, he gave some words of wisdom.
It doesn't appear that it just now, but I may be wrong,' he remarked, referring to Elon Musk's ability as an owner.
Twitter, the massively popular social networking service, was founded in 2006 by Biz Stone, Noah Glass, Evan Williams, and Jack Dorsey. To 'drive the business culture with that enthusiasm and that feeling,' Dorsey, the current CEO, summoned him back to the platform.
Meanwhile, the firm announced on Friday that, beginning on February 1, users who have had their accounts suspended will be able to appeal the decision and have their cases reviewed in accordance with Twitter's revised criteria for reinstatement.
In light of the new standards implemented after billionaire Elon Musk's October purchase of the company, Twitter accounts will be only suspended for severe or continuous and recurring breaches of the network's policies. Violations of the Terms of Service that are particularly serious include, but are not limited to, posting or sharing illicit content or engaging in criminal conduct, encouraging or threatening people or injury, and participating in the offensive behaviour of other users.
Employees' names should not have been made public, Stone continued, as part of the disclosure of the so-called Twitter files, a collection of internal documents describing decisions like the suspension of Donald Trump.
Stone remarked that 'when it occurs, individuals get such a lot of harassment.' 'This is a terrible situation.' Former Twitter head of trust and safety Yoel Roth reportedly had to leave his residence when Musk tweeted misinformation about Roth's 'Gay Data' concept from 2016.
Despite the company's current financial challenges, Stone is confident that the Twitter concept will endure. With the rise of competing services like Mastodon, Stone has expressed doubt about Twitter's long-term viability as a company but confidence that the concept of Twitter itself would endure.
That the notion was spread on Twitter is all that would matter. Indeed, that has transpired. It appears that is already transpiring. In terms of open-source, decentralised alternatives to Twitter, Mastodon appears to be the clear frontrunner. It appears to be a popular destination.
