The BCCI had schooled Women's Premier League (WPL) frachises that they had no issues with any commercialized alliances with fantasy sports but they couldnt involve anykind of colloborations with crypto currencies , waggers , betting , real money and tobacco sectors.
BCCI had explained detailly about the Commercial Workbook. It had informed all the franchices that if they had collations with prohibitted brands could lead to disciplinatory actions and directed to present their collabaration agreements infront of the board before the start of WPL. WPL inagural edition will be commenced from the march 4 to 26 and the maiden auction held on monday.

BCCI had quoted " No franchisee may enter into a partnership with or other type of relationship with a company that is connected to or otherwise operates, either directly or indirectly, in the making bets, wagering, real cash game, or smoking industries." and also added "The Franchisor may form alliances with companies in the virtual sports industry." The BCCI's advice is appropriate given the government's regulations, which follow the Supreme Court of India's directive to ban betting sites and see fantasy sports more as a measure of talent than chance.

" No Franchisee should cast about a liaison with or disparate genre of alliance with a company that's joined or banded in any etiquette to an organisation that's straightway or non strightaway , in the cryptocurrency industry," the BCCI advise states in additional instructions. As a result, it goes without saying that the WPL will not enter into any agreements with blockchain service providers, fan tokens, or collectibles that are either directly or indirectly connected to the cryptocurrency industry."
No franchisee shall catch up with any existent that may employ its collaboration with a Franchise and accordingly the WPL to multiply surrogate bulletins, an advert that duplicates the trademark fetch of one product to upgrade another product of the same brand to promote any commodity commanding any kind of liaison or operational / functional in the non-permissible orders mentioned over".

It also points out " These guidelines solidify quota of the WPL rules and any infractions of these guidelines will be trafficked with as per the vittles of section 6 of the Operational Rules. Any contraventions of the Clothing & Equipment rules will be trafficked with as per the vittles of the correctional proceeding. The franchisees should give jam-packed particulars of the prerogatives and aids that will be exercised by their patrons, not less than 10 days before the kickoff of the season, as per the suffrage marketable deliverables distance, which will be participated by the BCCI."
