Microsoft will add advertisements to its new Bing conversation driven by AI
Microsoft is adding adverts to its brand-new Bing search engine, which is driven by artificial intelligence. "In this new era of search, our first goal is to increase publisher traffic.
That is a major priority for us, and we gauge success in part by the volume of traffic the new Bing/Edge is sending, according to Yusuf Mehdi, corporate vice president at Microsoft.
In order to receive feedback on how to distribute content to increase traffic and income, Microsoft said that it had already met with more than 7,500 Microsoft Start partner companies.

The business stated on the blog that it seeks to increase publisher income through increasing traffic to publishers. In order to do this, Microsoft is introducing an enhanced hover experience, which will display additional links from the same publisher when you hover over a link from that publication.
In order to increase user engagement with the material, Microsoft will also provide licenced content for Microsoft Start partners next to the chat response. The partner will receive a portion of the ad income.
Microsoft will begin experimenting with inserting advertisements in the conversation and splitting ad income with partners whose material was used to produce the chat response.
