Hollywood Studios revealed an offer of $97 Million to Writers Guild of America after Stike
Hollywood Studios and film Making Alliance of Motion Picture & Television Producers representing the Hollywood studios in contract talks with the writers of the Writers Guild of America and told that they had offered wages with an increase of close to $97 million (Rs. 792 crores). They also said that this amount is totally doubled the amount previously given about $41 million (Rs. 335 crores) and this was claimed by the writers that they are being offered, as said by the studios in a statement on Thursday.

The Writers Guild of America has the representation of about 11,000 screenwriters in the nation and they went on strike Tuesday, which knocked out the late-night talk shows off the air and threatened the production of hundreds of TV Programs and films also including ones for the upcoming fall season. After six weeks of negotiations, talks between the writers and production houses broke down on Monday.
As the writers said they were seeking as least staffing levels and employment terms on TV series. The union of the writers wants at least six writers on an episode TV show and with having the commitment to 13 weeks of work on some programs for streaming.
Studious on Thursday said they could not support the requests of the writers and –
“If writing needs to be done, writers are hired, but these proposals require the employment of writers whether they are for the creative process or not,” their lines include.
There is also another issue of using artificial intelligence in screenwriting and more and this is not acceptable to the writers as they also said to not use such technology for writing stuff. The studio said the issue had “hard, important creative and legal questions.”
