Use of ChatGPT lead to an arrest for a Chinese man who used it for generating fake news
ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence-based model became the cause for the arrest of a Chinese for misusing the portal. ChatGPT is an OpenAI Company Designed Model which has been financially sourced by Microsoft and other big companies.
The Police of China made an arrest and spotted a fake news article that was claiming the death of 9 people in a local train accident. After circulating that news, China is speculating all the social media sites and applications closely.

Using artificial technology, a Chinese man circulated fake news of an accident with a train and the deaths of 9 people that begin the search by Chinese Police. That man was later arrested by the Police for misusing the technology for illegal means such as “concocting information” and posting it on several accounts. This case has been reported as the first arrest for misusing ChatGPT.
Police commented on the arrest as we detained him for “using artificial intelligence technology to concoct false and untrue information.”
The case has been found when the article was found on 25 April stating the deaths of nine people in the train crash accident. The cyber division of a country police bureau started searching for such accounts. Reported by the Hong-Kong-based South-China Morning Post on Monday.
The cybercrime officers in Kongtong country found the piece of news simultaneously posted by more than 20 accounts on Baijiahao, which is a blog-style platform run by Chinese search engine giant Baidu.
The team of police officers and bureau chiefs traced the origin of the article to a company owned by the suspect Hong. This company used to operate personal media platforms registered in Shenzhen in Guangdong province in southern China. Just after a few days the police team searched Hong’s home and checked his computer and detained him.
