SpaceX launches another set of 52 Starlink satellites
SpaceX launches another set of 52 Starlink satellites into orbit and makes the landing of the rockets at sea on Monday morning.
The Rocket Falcon 9 lashed with 52 Starlink spacecraft lifted off Monday at 3:10 a.m. EDT (0710 GMT) from Cape Canaveral Space Station in Florida, this is the first of its planned two SpaceX launches for the day.
The image shown below shows the Falcon 9’s first step return to earth just about 8.5 minutes after liftoff for a pinpoint touchdown on the SpaceX drone ship that also had a shortfall of gravitas, which was having its station in the Atlantic Ocean.
As per the statement SpaceX wrote in its mission description as this is the ninth launch and landing for this particular booster.
The topmost stage of the rocket will further carry the 52 satellites to low earth orbit, which will ultimately deploy them there about 65 minutes after liftoff.
SpaceX is a successful space research and development company that has almost completed the launches of satellites more than 4,500 Starlink satellites to date and out of them nearly 4,200 are still functioning, as per the astrophysicist and satellite tracker Jonathan McDowell.
Elon Musk’s company SpaceX has permission to deploy 12,000 broadband satellites and he had applied for approval for another 30,000 on top of that. Currently, the company’s mega constellation is at the end.
This launch was the first leg of a planned Falcon 9 doubleheader on Monday and was done in the early morning. Space research company SpaceX also had its plan to launch the transporter -8 rideshare mission at 5:19 p.m. EDT (2119 GMT) from Vandenberg Space force base in California. This launch will almost send 72 satellites for a variety of customers.
This launch can also be watched when the exact time of the launch will arrive.
